Things to consider when hiring a DJ that a lot of people will overlook:

• There is more involved than a DJ just showing up and playing.
• A lot is involved that people don't consider and think the DJ just shows up and pushes a button and the equipment pops out of a suitcase like a pop up tent. We got to pack the car, drive there, unpack, set up, play for 4 to 5 hours, break down the equipment, pack the car, drive home and unpack the car. Packing the car is 30 minutes. Driving there is usually up to 50 minutes. Setting up and checking everything before the Guests arrive, an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half and the same to pack to the car. It's about an additional 5 hours for packing, unpacking, drivings, unpacking, setting up, checking everything, breaking the gear down, packing up, driving home, and unpacking.
• Planning for the event is involved too which can take up some time.
• Consider the equipment that you are renting from the DJ. It could cost over $700 if you rented DJ Equipment from the hotel and had a DJ with no or with little equipment play for you.
• Planning and playing the music. I've seen this way too many times where someone running a party doesn't have more than 20 songs and they think that's going to make the event happen. That will last for an hour and half before your guest start to ignore what's being played. Let DJ Blitz handle your event.
